Sophie Torelli Chironi, Head of the NGO Liaison Unit at the United Nations Office in Geneva. Sophie Torelli Chironi is a dedicated international relations professional with almost 20 years of experience within the United Nations and associated organizations. Currently serving as Political Affairs Officer and Head of the NGO Liaison Unit at the United Nations Office in Geneva. In her role, she provides critical policy advice and substantive support to the Director-General, particularly focusing on strengthening UN Geneva's engagement with these vital societal actors.  Her earlier positions included impactful roles in the Cabinet of the UNOG Director-General and the UN Special Representative for Disaster Risk Reduction, as well as various positions with OCHA, UNDP in Botswana and the French Embassy in Côte d'Ivoire.
