Salome Khachiauri-Soltau, is the Head of the Grants Department at Georgia’s Innovation and Technology Agency (GITA), for more than 8 years she has played an essential role in shaping Georgia’s innovation landscape and facilitating the growth of promising scalable startups in Georgia. Salome has successfully led donor or state-funded programs supporting startups and commercialization of scientific research. In her previous work as a Senior Manager of Eco-innovation at the UN Global Compact Network Georgia, she was involved in several donor-funded projects to foster sustainable practices and innovation in the private sector.  Salome has also led the project at the Stockholm-based foundation "Entrepreneurs Without Borders," driving the mission of enabling sustainable entrepreneurs globally.  She holds a master's degree in "International Human Rights Law and International Intellectual Property Law" from Lund University and holds various certificates in entrepreneurship, leadership, and sustainability.
