Maia Makharashvili, MD, MBA, is the esteemed CEO and Chair of the Board at S. Khechinashvili University Clinic and the Healthcare Association. Boasting over 20 years in the health sector, she has been instrumental in healthcare reforms, policy development, and has held key managerial roles in the private health sector for over a decade. Since 2018, as CEO, she has spearheaded the clinic's operations, aligning them with health regulations and business goals, while fostering strategic partnerships to ensure sustainable growth.

As Chair of the Board, Maia actively engages with various stakeholders, including hospitals, educational institutions, and government bodies, offering high-level advisory services. Her consultancy work extends to international projects with organizations like the World Bank, UNFPA, and UNICEF.

Her academic background is as impressive, holding an MBA in Healthcare and Hospital Management from the Frankfurt School of Finance and Management, an MD in Obstetrics and Gynecology from Tbilisi Medical University, and an MPA from the Georgia Institute of Public Affairs.
