After several months of Agency’s establishment, Avtandil Kasradze was appointed as a Deputy Chairman and later as a Chairman of GITA. Having more than 8 years experience in legal field, Avtandil in parallel of all the Agency activities, he has been committed in formalizing legal framework of the Agency. He was Senior Adviser of the Legal Department at the Chancellery of the Government of Georgia in 2014 and for 2 years Avtandil was Senior Adviser of the Department of Legal Drafting at Ministry of Justice of Georgia. In addition to the experience in state entities, Avtandil has working experience in international organizations as well as in NGOs. He was a Senior Legal Analyst Assistant at OSCE/ODIHR Election Observation Mission. Avtandil’s responsibility in non-governmental organization, Transparency International Georgia, was first Legal Analyst and later Election and Legal Expert.  In the beginning of his career, he was running an NGO Association for Democracy Development. As for the international experience, Avtandil was a fellow in the Council of Europe (Venice Commission) in Strasbourg, France. For one year he was a research assistant at the Academic Department of the Raoul Wallenberg Institute of Human Rights and Humanitarian Law at Lund University Sweden. Avtandil Kasradze has a Master’s Degree in International Human Rights Law at Lund University, Sweden and Bachelor’s Degree of Law at Tbilisi State University, Georgia.
