Alejandra Cordero is the EBRD’s Principal, Gender Advisor for the South Caucasus. In Georgia, she oversees EBRD’s inclusive and gender-responsive investments across sectors. She also manages policy engagement programmes and technical cooperation projects to support human capital development in the region. Since joining the EBRD in 2020, she has worked with EBRD’s clients in the municipal and infrastructure sector providing targeted support to promote the development of inclusive and gender-responsive services and public goods.

Alejandra Cordero holds a MPA from Columbia University’s School of International and Public Affairs (SIPA), with a focus on gender and development studies. Prior to joining the EBRD, Alejandra gained experience working for private sector companies and international organizations covering projects across different regions and sectors.
