Dr. Giorgi Vekua serves as the Director of the International Relations & Project Management Department at the Georgian Chamber of Commerce and Industry. With over a decade of experience, he has significantly contributed to the development and internationalization of Georgian businesses. Dr. Vekua has successfully implemented numerous business support projects, collaborating with major international organizations such as USAID, EU GIZ, UN Women, and Sequa. His extensive experience encompasses coordinating projects and initiatives, on global and regional level with Business Support Organizations, Non-Governmental Organizations, governmental bodies, and private sector stakeholders.

In the academic domain, Dr. Vekua has authored several publications on EU Competition Law, international trade, investments, E-Commerce and Digitalization.He is also credited with authoring a Guidebook on E-Commerce for SMEs. His academic accolades include a Ph.D and three Master's degrees, earned from Ivane Javakhishvili Tbilisi State University and Universiteit van Amsterdam. As a Gender Expert, Dr. Vekua is at the helm of implementing Women Empowerment Principles within Georgian business circles. He is  an invited lecturer and trainer, offering insights on Project Management, E-Commerce, International Trade, and Investments through a range of courses.
