Space Farm, Founder & CEO

Tusya Gharibashvili is an entrepreneur known for her innovative work in urban farming in Georgia. Her journey started in 2017 when she founded Urban Greens, a company that quickly became the main supplier of microgreens to restaurants in Tbilisi.

Seeing the potential of vertical farming in cities, Tusya launched SpaceFarms, the first indoor vertical farming project of its kind in Georgia. With support from the Adjara Group Holding, SpaceFarms operates inside Hotel Stamba in Tbilisi's city center, supplying fresh daily harvest leafy greens and microgreens to restaurants like Cafe Stamba, Rooms, and others.

Tusya's achievements have gained her recognition, and she serves on the advisory board of the International Vertical Farming Association based in Munich.

Her latest project, SPOTS, is a modular farming system that empowers customers to cultivate the produce they desire and manage their farming experience through a user-friendly app. SPOTS aims to revolutionize the way fresh produce is grown and distributed. Tusya's dedication to innovation has attracted funding from organizations like USAID's Agriculture Program and GITA. Additionally, she has entered contracts with prominent groups such as Accor Group and Ska Group. These collaborations are contributing to the rapid expansion of farming setups, both in Georgia and abroad, marking Georgia as the origin of the innovative modular frames.

Tusya Gharibashvili's work and initiatives are consistently in the spotlight in international media, highlighting her commitment to innovation and sustainability in agriculture.
