Aziel Philippos Goulandris currently serves as the Secretary-General of the World Federation of United Nations Associations after being elected to the post in October 2023. He served WFUNA for 10 years in the capacity of Education Officer, Director of the Geneva Office, and Deputy Secretary-General. His contribution to WFUNA through his extensive experience has been instrumental in expanding the outreach capacity of the Organization as well as many programs. His past work experience includes, inter alia, serving as a Human Rights and Humanitarian expert for the Greek Permanent Mission to the UN in Geneva, Legal Advisor, as well as Legal Officer for the French Coast Guard Service. He is fluent in Greek, French, English and Spanish. He holds M.A.s of Geopolitics and International Relations from King’s College London and the University of Bordeaux as well as a B.A. in Law.
