Kathryn White


Founder and CEO, AParentCorp

Kathryn White is the co-founder and President of aParent Corp., a start up consultancy focused on innovative solutions to key issues of the Sustainable Development Goals. aParent works with the private and public sectors, academia, governments and civil society. Notably, framing solutions in the building sector to the challenges of climate change and human health.

Kate served as President & CEO of UNA-Canada for 17 years, successfully developing, planning and implementing strategic national and international programmes. 

She led the first national policy research and development programme focused on youth and the Social Determinants of Health call 'Talking Back to Grown-ups'. She also developed the largest, national diversity programme 'Multimedia and Multiculturalism'. This policy and engagement initiative initially was part of Kate's work with her previous consultancy focused on risk.

Early in her career, Kate was a journalist and news manager.

Kate proudly serves as a VP of WFUNA and is a director of the National Capital UNA-Canada. She had the pleasure of visiting Tbilisi previously as a speaker on women and peacekeeping.
